One Busy Weekend.......

So this weekend was really busy. Saturday was the Heart Walk. We had a great turnout including family and friends from all over the northeast. Look at this great looking group all walking for Colin!!
All walkers wore T-shirts that we had made... The back of the shirts said "Forever in our "heart logo", Colin Charles Domanico with his dates and heart defects"... (Thanks to the Fragale boy's for modeling during the walk)...

We even had onesies for Colin's little cousins and of course Drew. Here is a picture of Drew's......(The Shirt has a picture of Colin and reads "Strolling for my brother Colin).
Here is a picture of some of the cousins wearing their shirts.....
Here is a picture of the three of us after the walk... As you can see in the picture, a painting of Colin hangs in the background... That portrait was done before he passed away as a gift from a cousin.......
We raised a lot of money in memory of Colin. Thanks again to all who donated-it meant a lot to us. A special thanks to Jaclyn and Chris who raised money on their own. We all surpassed our goals. After the walk, we had a picnic up on Oneida Lake near our house to thank everyone for their support. The weather held up without a drop of rain. Paige, Gianna, Brielle and Meg all had fun playing wiffleball.
On Sunday we had Drew's Baptism. He wore the same outfit as Colin and even wore his cross. What a cutie....

Here is a picture with Drew and his Godparents Jamee and Alex.....

A picture of the cake.....
It was a great weekend and a celebration of both our beautiful boys!! Thanks to the grandparents for the delicious food and to all our family and friends for your support.

  2. What a beautiful weekend it was for both the walk in memory of our grandson Colin and for the baptism of our second grandson Drew. I also want to thank everyone for the 5 to 6 hour car rides that some made to come up for this special weekend. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful family members and friends. Also thanks for those who gave donations to the heart walk. Thanks also to Tim and Melanie.
    Love you all,

  5. We really enjoyed the weekend - it certainly was filled with two special events. Thanks for letting us stay with you. Jenna and Kelsey had a good time and hope they didn't stress Uncle Timmy out too much with dropping crumbs on the floor :)! Can't wait to see you in a month.

  8. Last weekend was great. The walk for Colin was successful, and Drew's baptism was lots of fun with all the family. Drew looked very handsome in his brother's christening outfit and cross.
Uncle Alex and Aunt Jamee were perfect Godparents!

Now Pop and Drew have to get down to serious business talking about attending SU after he graduates high school, eating ice cream this summer, watching scary movies together and talking about the kind of car his Pop-Pop Charlie is going to get him when he is 16. His Pop-Pop told me money was no object!!
