Remembering Colin's Battle....Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week

Congenital Heart Disease is considered to be the most common birth defect, and is a leading cause of birth-defect related deaths worldwide. Despite the fact that CHD affects millions of families, a relatively small amount of funding is currently available for parent/patient educational services, research, and support.
We miss you so much Colin....we remember you this week and always.

  1. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of Colin. Sometimes I smile and sometimes I'm teary eyed. God bless you and all the families that read this blog who are loving someone with CHD. Love, Colin's Auntie Sue

  2. I just read the above posting that it is CHD Defect Awareness Week and it took me to last year in Boston for Colin's surgeries. He was such a fighter and we miss you so very much.
    Love,

  3. It was one year ago yesterday that we all came to Children's in Boston with such high hopes for Colin. I thought for sure that they would be able to correct his defect. But it was not meant to be.

Colin, I still miss you and love you. ALWAYS!
You are our precious angel watching over all of us. Keep an eye on your little brother!
