We've Arrived!!!!!!

Well, we finally arrived in Boston after a 5 hour drive. We have scoped out where we need to go tomorrow while there was no traffic. We are now holed up in the hotel room as it is going to start snowing any minute. Tomorrow's agenda includes:

  • Sedated Echocardiogram

  • Lung Scan

  • EKG

  • Bloodwork

It should be a packed day as we have to be at the hospital at 7:30 am. At night, Godfather Brian and my buddy Jason are stopping by to bring dinner. We will keep updating the blog as the week progresses so check back often. By the way...Thanks to all the families across the country who have left notes of support. We appreciate all the prayers......

  1. Glad to see that you got to Boston safely. Make sure Uncle Brian brings something good for dinner tomorrow night for Mom and Dad - PF Changs or cannolis from Mike's Pastry (hint, hint).

  2. Hi Guys,

I've been thinking about you everyday. Glad you made it down there safely. We'll be saying more prayers of course. In the meantime, you know I love you guys. Kisses galore for Colin.

  3. Glad you made it to Boston...whoo, I bet it's COLD up there!!! I will not even tell you how the weather was in Vegas this weekend! Your heart friends all over are praying for you this week! We hope you behave tomorrow, smooze the nurses with your cute smile...and that you only have to be poked once for the blood draw.
    We're praying for you.

  5. Hi,

Just came across your site from baby Isaac's blog. I wanted to say hi and let you know I'll be keeping you all in my prayers as you go through this journey yet again. My daughter is 14 months old and has TOF as well and has had 1 open-heart surgery last year. It's a rough road for us heart families, but I find comfort in talking to other heart families and sharing our experiences.

    Take Care

  6. See you tonight Colin. As for your Aunt Sue concerned over dinner, you tell her that the Godfather did not get the way he is by bringing bad food to a get together!!! I also want to reiterate what Tim said and thank all of the heart families out there supporting my brother and Mel. A new marriage is hard enough but this on top of it I can't imagine. So from the bottom of my heart I appreciate you all supporting my little brother and his wonderful family.
