No pics today because Colin has been very cranky since we got home. They sent us home with a very "aggressive" weaning schedule and Colin has not really slept (either has mommy and daddy!) since we've been home. Therefore, the entire Domanico household is very cranky!! It's terrible-Colin just moans all the time and cannot get comfortable. Colin did have one good night and slept right through but, his feeding pump broke at midnight and Tim and I were up until 2 am waiting to get a new one!! We are very happy to be home but, it has been a very difficult transition.
Does anyone know if they have infant rehab facilities?? (ha ha)
ps-Thanks to Terri for answering her phone during stressful times!!

ReplyDeleteYeah for Terri...we LOVE her too!!
ReplyDeleteCan you call the docs and tell them to adjust the schedule?? Isaac was the same cranky pot...and we were on a schedule of 3 weeks once we came home. (or they gave us permission to give break through doses if he needed them..ask your doc about that).
I hope you guys get some sleep and cranky pants starts feeling better...
It will be better soon...Isaac just woke up one day and decided that he'd behave and get back to normal.

Colin had a great day at our house today. We played, watched movies, took 2 naps and had some bananas!
ReplyDeleteThis week we will go for a walk!!!
I am so happy that Colin had a great day today. Hope that he continues to have these types of days. Get some sleep Tim and Melanie when Colin naps or goes to sleep early. Glad to hear he is taking some food by mouth. Hope that means he is not throwing up....Love and kisses. Nanna and Grandpa
ReplyDeleteColin has been thru so much - it stinks that they can't give him a less aggressive weaning program. The only infant rehab program I know of is Lots of love, hugs and kisses...I know he is getting his needs met in that department. I hope you all get some sleep soon. I'm glad to hear he's eating!
ReplyDeleteIf you need anything - call me (even if you need a nap) I can come over and watch Colin.
colin please sleep!!! sorry to hear he is cranky...thank god you are home....those feeding pumps are not as wonderful as doctors think...you should have a back up
ReplyDelete!!! please let me know how we can help...food, babysitting, wine? YOu can have your parents call me for anything if you two don't feel like talking...you know we'll do anything to keep you home and HAPPY!!! Love the MILLIGANS
I am so happy your home. I hope Collin starts to feel better soon. He is such a strong little man so I know he will.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
Vanessa
I'm so glad you are home. I'm sorry to hear about the sleeplessness, though. That is no fun. It will pass! Hang in there....I'm praying for Colin to feel better and for good rest for all of you.

It is my pleasure ...
ReplyDeleteYOU KNOW WE KNOW what it's like!
It's tough to watch our little guys withdrawing from drugs...
We used to sing that Jimmie Hendrix song "Purple Haze" to Matthew sometimes for fun ...
Oh well... just trying to lighten things up a little once in a while!
You know you can call me any ole time. I love you guys (and all my heart mom& dad friends).
We have a bond that no one else has.
Hey Tim and Melanie
ReplyDeleteI just talked to Ryan a couple days ago and he told me about Colin. I hope all of you are doing well, and we wish Colin the best. If you need anything let me know.
